Dear Fellow Carpenter Travelers:
Ahoj, Hallo, and Szia!
Join us for an extraordinary tour of Central Europe that will include amazing destinations, magnificent hotels, and all the special activities that make Carpenter trips so memorable.
First stop Prague, the Golden City, where we'll stay at the marvelous 5-star Alcron Hotel, steps away from Wenceslas Square and convenient to many of the highlights that make this city so enjoyable. Prague is saturated in history, elegance, and charm. Perfectly situated along the Vltava River, Prague ranks on virtually every “best of” list as one of the most beautiful and walkable cities (and best places to have a beer) in all of Europe.
Our journey will include exciting half-day tours in Prague and outside the city to awesome highlights in Central Bohemia. There will be incredibly fun evenings planned full of merry eating, drinking, and entertainment. The locals love Americans and the city is quite welcoming.
Plus, we have an action-packed optional extension with four nights in Vienna and Budapest!
Vienna is one of the most culturally significant, historical, and stunning cities in all of Europe. Extraordinary art, architecture, countless museums, magnificent palaces, and elegant parks all help to explain the tremendous appeal of Vienna. We plan to stay two nights at the 5-Star Grand Hotel Wien, one of the finest luxury hotels in Europe, located on the famous Wiener Ringstrasse, just steps from the Vienna Opera.
From Vienna we will make an unforgettable journey to Budapest, the Pearl of the Danube, a city that dates back to the Old Stone Age, featuring Roman, neo-Gothic, Renaissance and Ottoman architecture, world renown thermal baths and a vibrant nightlife. Budapest has a rich heritage and tons of culture to go along with it. We will spend two nights at the Hilton Budapest, right in the Buda Castle District. Our hotel is situated next to the iconic Fisherman’s Bastion and is part of a 13th century monastery. Every room will have a view of the beautiful Danube below.
I’m very excited about our fantastic trip to Central Europe and, of course, look forward to seeing many of you there enjoying it with me.
